Brooklyn Peace Center cultivates the conditions in which peace can flourish—within ourselves, in our relationships, and throughout our communities. Through art, education, spiritual practice, and community life, we bring people together across differences to disrupt cycles of harm, deepen belonging, and build toward justice and collective liberation.

Reconocimiento de tierras

Brooklyn Peace Center gathers in Lenapehoking, the ancestral and unceded homeland of the Lenape people, including the Canarsee people who lived in what is now Brooklyn. We honor Lenape communities past and present, their enduring relationship with this land, and generations to come. This acknowledgment calls us to confront the ongoing legacies of settler colonialism and white supremacy.

Brooklyn Peace Center es una organización comunitaria basada en activos (501c3) que sirve como catalizador para la consolidación de la paz y la transformación de conflictos en Brooklyn y más allá. A través de actividades de consolidación de la paz, eventos artísticos y culturales, seminarios web y talleres y seminarios presenciales, el Brooklyn Peace Center involucra y equipa a los residentes de la comunidad, activistas y artistas, clérigos y médicos, y a todos los que tienen interés en la consolidación de la paz.
