El edificio fue erigido en 1891 por la Primera Beth Shalom austroh\u00fangara.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">A finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, los nombres de muchas congregaciones fueron identificados primero por el pa\u00eds de origen del grupo inmigrante. Otra congregaci\u00f3n se form\u00f3 en 1958. Esta congregaci\u00f3n, ni jud\u00eda ni de Europa, reflejaba la demograf\u00eda cambiante del vecindario.<\/p>\n<p>La nueva congregaci\u00f3n, Primera Iglesia Menonita de Brooklyn (Primera Iglesia Menonita de Brooklyn) se origin\u00f3 principalmente en Puerto Rico y su identidad religiosa era menonita, una denominaci\u00f3n cristiana que es miembro de la Iglesia Hist\u00f3rica de la Paz. La iglesia compr\u00f3 el edificio en 1962.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc-row-container container\"><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1621006673459\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Ubicada en un vecindario din\u00e1mico y diverso, en Bedford-Stuyvesant y en la frontera con Bushwick, Primera Iglesia Menonita de Brooklyn celebr\u00f3 servicios de adoraci\u00f3n en 23 Marcus Garvey durante muchas d\u00e9cadas. La iglesia se disolvi\u00f3 formalmente en 2019.<\/p>\n<p>La Conferencia de la Costa Atl\u00e1ntica (ACC) de la Iglesia Menonita de EE. UU. era propietaria del edificio.
